Some days are just better than others. Like today, the sun’s shining, not a cloud in the sky, birds chirping away and the spring is in the air. It makes me feel so good and I just know that this will be a lovely day.
Days like these you have to have an equally delicious breakfast! I made a creamy smoothie with pineapple, banana, maca and cranberry powder. A real boost for the body with lots of vitamins and minerals. I used fresh pineapple (organic) which meant that the smoothie wasn’t so sweet and had a bit of a bite to it. If you use canned pineapple it will probably be more sweet.
- 1 cup pineapple
- 1/2 banana
- 1 cups milk plant (oat, soy, almond...)
- 2 teaspoons maca
- 1 teaspoon cranberry powder (or other berry powder, or berries if you have).
- Mix everything in a blender to a creamy consistency.
