Sometimes you don’t not need many ingredients to create a dish that has that little something extra. This is a simple and beautiful salad, which is perfect to use as an appetizer for a dinner. It is important to remember that we eat as much with the eyes as our taste.
Simple, beautiful tomato sallad
4 large tomatoes
10 small tomatoes in various colors
1 handful of green leaves (such as baby spinach, chard or arugula)
1/2 cup chives, chopped
Cut the tomatoes into thin fine slices and place in a beautiful pattern on a platter. Decorate with leaves in between the tomatoes. When you feel satisfied, sprinkle with chives and drizzle with a little oil. Pull a few strokes with the pepper grinder and sprinkle over a little salt. Serve immediately.
