After a stressful week or maybe a little too action-packed weekend, it’s nice to restore the body and somehow help it to clean itself. I usually then do a big glass of green juice for breakfast.
This juice is packed with nutrition and good stuff. You can choose almost any green vegetables to have in the juice, this time I used :
6 leaves romaine lettuce
2 fists of spinach
1 broccoli stem
1 1/2 stalks of celery
1 thumb ginger
The trick with getting a good tasting juice is to still have some fruit in it, for example an apple. Then it dosen’t taste so “green” with all vegetables , though it also can be good sometimes . Depending on how strong you want your juice, you can also have more or less ginger.
Just before I drank this juice , I drank a wheatgrass shot , it might as well been mixed in the juice , but I didn’t want the taste would be affected , and then I think it is good to drink wheatgrass bit before other food / drink.
