As some of you might have figured out, I like pizza. There is something special about having a bottom and then put a lot of good vegetables on it in some strange way. It dosen’t have to be a traditional pizza either, both the bottom and what one has to vary. Fun Fact: When I was in kindergarten I scraped away everything on the pizza and ate only bread. Yes some have changed since then.
This green sauce is both nutritious and delicious! Depending on the size of pizza you need different amounts but the same concept applies.
Mix spinach and green peas together to a smooth sauce. If you want you can add a handful of nuts or seeds. I used my favorit – cashews! Season the sauce with coriander, salt and pepper. If you want to get a little more traditional flavor to the sauce, you can have the oregano and basil.
Spread the sauce over the pizza base and top as usual. It tastes creamy and delightful! If you use nuts, you will notice that the sauce hardens a bit, as if it had been a nut cheese.
